Petrified wood is one of our favourite ancient Tasmanian stones. At 170 + million year old, this stone has some stories to tell.
The process of petrifaction is slow; organic wood matter, soaked in mineral rich water slowly evaporating (over a very VERY long time) and leaving minerals in its place.
The gnarls, rings and history of the wood is often still there to see.
Wearing this earthly petrified wood ring will keep you grounded.

Care
To maintain the beauty and integrity of your jewellery, we recommend treating it with love and care.
Gentle washing with soap and water can effectively preserve its longevity.
We encourage you to remove jewellery before washing and engaging in manual activities such as gardening, cattle wrangling, skydiving, Muay Tai and housework.
Ring Sizing
Getting the correct ring size can be tricky. The most accurate method is to have your fingers measured at a jewellery store (any local jeweller should offer free sizing).
You can also measure an existing ring at home – all you need is a ring that fits you well and a ruler.
Measure the distance across the inside of the ring. Make sure to measure across the middle of the ring, where it's widest! All our ring sizes are given in Australian/UK, American and Asian sizes as well as the diameter too.
