From the heart of Tasmania
Kichikoo Design is a team of family and friends. We live in Australia’s southern island state of Tasmania/Nipaluna, a place rich in rainforests, rivers, blue oceans and dolerite mountains.
Erica is an artist and founded Kichikoo in 2013 as her nom de plume for her oil paintings. The name naturally extended to Kichikoo Design when we founded our creative business in September 2025. Mark is the Director of Operations and Logistics at Kichikoo, which means he's really good at digging holes and looking for special stones! Together, we are both Lapidists and create most of the stone work for our beloved creations. We hope you love them as much as we do.
Our design inspiration
Tasmania's forests and rivers are abound with beautiful flora and fauna.
Our jewellery designs encompass the spiky, prickly, stingy bugs and plants that we encounter while searching for beautiful agates and gemstones.
We love showcasing our locally-sourced stones in beautiful sterling silver settings. When creating our pieces, we consider natural form, elegance and contradiction.
Our designs are an eclectic mix of organic, elegance and beauty.
