About Us
Hello! Welcome to the Kichikoo Family
Kichikoo Design is a team of family and friends. We live in Australia’s southern island state of Tasmania, Australia; a place rich with rainforests, rivers, blue oceans and dolerite mountains.
We adore the astounding geology of our precious island. We are Mark and Erica, husband and wife, who forage, dig and sieve for stones through the rivers and soil north-east of the state.
We partner with our friends in Tasmania and Bali, and together we create the final pieces ready for you to wear. Our process is slow - many of our stones are tumbled, which means it take up to three months to complete the process. All stones are sourced ethically, and all the sterling silver used is of the highest quality.
The Tasmanian landscape is critically important to us.
That’s why we donate a percentage of our profit to organisations that fight to protect the environment.
We are currently supporting the Friends of Franklin Forest, who care for a small patch of forest south of Tasmania and host wonderful funghi tours for the public each season.
