This chunk of love is Tasmanian nephrite jade set in a sterling silver bracelet. Tasmanian jade is found in Tasmania's wild west - Trial Harbour to be exact.
If you look closely at the images, you'll see it nestling on top of a big cream-coloured rock. This is actually what nephrite jade looks like, before it's cut to reveal its true green inside - crazy, eh?!
We love Tasmanian jade - it's easy to work with and has the most beautiful colour. It registers between 6 and 6.5 on the Mohs scale, which means it's fine for cabochons (round shapes and ovals) but shouldn't be faceted.

Ring Sizing
Getting the correct ring size can be tricky. The most accurate method is to have your fingers measured at a jewellery store (any local jeweller should offer free sizing).
You can also measure an existing ring at home – all you need is a ring that fits you well and a ruler.
Measure the distance across the inside of the ring. Make sure to measure across the middle of the ring, where it's widest! All our ring sizes are given in Australian/UK, American and Asian sizes as well as the diameter too.
