This stunner is hand-crafted with Tasmanian black spinel. We found it in the rivers of North East Tasmania on one of our many gemstone-hunting adventures.
It's a beautiful, opaque gemstone that shines and sparkles like polished or faceted glass.
We wanted to showcase this stone in all its glory, so we chose to create a classic engagement ring style. It is elegant, eye-catching, and a statement piece.
Spiritually, spinel is thought to keep negativity at bay and help you stay calm, no matter what life throws your way. MOHS hardness of 8.

Ring Sizing
Getting the correct ring size can be tricky. The most accurate method is to have your fingers measured at a jewellery store (any local jeweller should offer free sizing).
You can also measure an existing ring at home – all you need is a ring that fits you well and a ruler.
Measure the distance across the inside of the ring. Make sure to measure across the middle of the ring, where it's widest! All our ring sizes are given in Australian/UK, American and Asian sizes as well as the diameter too.
